     correct  Beats Per Hour

   Enter the Current Beats per hour, the amount of Error in seconds (use a negative (-) number for slow), and the period
   in hours. Press calculate to make the calculations.
 

Example:1 (Clock is fast)

The clock is running at 4859 beats per hour. It has gained 11 minutes (660 seconds) in 15 hours.

Input the current beats per hour 4859
Input the error in seconds +660 (plus for fast)
Input the period in hours 15

Click Calculate
The correct BPH is 4800
Lengthen the pendulum by .5322 in.

Example:2 (Clock is slow)

The clock is running at 4742 beats per hour. It has lost 11 minutes (-660 seconds) in 15 hours.

Input the current beats per hour 4742.
Input the error in seconds -660 (minus for slow)
Input the period in hours 15

Click Calculate
The correct BPH is 4800
Shorten the pendulum by .5430 in.
